Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data RankSEOGrow ("RankSEOGrow", "we") collects when you use this website and its tools, why, and the choices you have.

Data we collect

• Account data: email, name (optional), a hashed password, your plan, preferred currency and country.
• Report inputs and results: business names, websites, locations, services, competitor names and the reports generated. Reports you don't save are kept for up to 30 days, then deleted.
• Usage data: pages viewed, tool events (for example report started or completed), approximate country, browser type, and a hashed form of your IP address used for rate limiting.
• Messages: what you send through the contact form.
• Payment data: when paid plans launch, payments are handled by Stripe or Razorpay. We don't store card numbers.

Website data we fetch

When you enter a website, we fetch its public pages, robots.txt and sitemap, the same way a search engine does. We don't log in, submit forms or access private areas.

How we use data

• To provide the tools, save your reports and run your account
• To prevent abuse and enforce plan limits
• To understand which features help users and fix problems
• To send service emails (account, billing, launch notices you asked for)

We don't sell personal data.

Advertising and analytics (Google)

Free pages may show ads served by Google AdSense, and we may use Google Analytics. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, and learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services. Other vendors' cookies can be managed at aboutads.info.

Advertising and analytics cookies are used only after you agree in the cookie banner, where consent is required. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland see a consent message that meets Google's requirements.

AI features

If the AI competitor finder is enabled, the business details you enter (not your account details) are sent to an AI provider (Anthropic) to suggest competitors and keyword ideas. Providers process the data to return the answer under their terms.

Legal bases (EEA/UK)

Contract (providing the service), legitimate interests (security, product improvement), consent (advertising and analytics cookies) and legal obligation (tax records).

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data. Export and delete are available in your account settings, or contact us. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 or California's CCPA/CPRA), you may also object to processing, withdraw consent or complain to a regulator.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of closing it, except billing records we must keep by law. Unsaved reports: 30 days. Usage events: 13 months.

Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt, sessions use secure HTTP-only cookies, and the crawler refuses private network addresses. No system is perfectly secure; we'll notify affected users of a breach as required by law.

Children

RankSEOGrow isn't intended for anyone under 18.
